I wrote this song after a conversation that I had with my son who was experiencing a painful breakup. I thought about his situation and compared it to my own. The words "love is hit or miss" came to me... so I wrote a song about it. I didn't want it to be a heartbreak song. Instead, I gave it a groove and a dance floor, or a baseball field.
