Three kinds of account.

No tricks

Why we charge at all.

Artist

Hosting video is not free. Every demo you upload costs us bandwidth and storage, so we keep a paid floor that lets us serve your work in HD without ads. No tricks, no upsells.

Venue

Connecting venues to the right artists takes real infrastructure: matching, hosting, support. The monthly fee keeps the platform serious. Cancel any time from your settings.

There are no ads on DemoStop and no algorithm deciding who gets seen. Membership is what pays for that, which is why it is a flat rate rather than a cut of your work.

Before you ask

The usual questions.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from your settings. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing you have uploaded is deleted when it ends.

I subscribed on the old DemoStop site. Does my price change?

No. Everyone who subscribed on the original site keeps the price they signed up on, for as long as they stay subscribed. We do not move anyone onto the new pricing, and signing in here will not start a second membership.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, from your settings. The change takes effect on your next renewal.

I am an artist who also runs a venue. Which one do I need?

They are separate accounts because they do separate jobs. Most people in that position keep an artist profile for their own work and a venue profile for the space they run, then switch between the two.

Do I need a paid account to be found?

No. Anyone can browse and search DemoStop for free, and a free profile is visible in Discover. Paid membership is for the people doing the work: posting demos, applying, booking and running venues.

What does the Academy cost?

Individual courses are priced by the instructor who made them. Members get every subscription-priced course at no extra cost.
